Block Reward
The new MLRT created and awarded to whoever successfully adds a block to the chain.
The block reward is the incentive that pays for network security. Each time a valid block is found, the protocol mints a defined amount of new MLRT and assigns it to the successful miner, often alongside any transaction fees included in that block. In solo mining the finder keeps the whole reward; in pool mining the pool splits it among contributors by share count. Block rewards are how coins enter circulation and why mining is worth doing at all. The reward sits inside the special coinbase transaction at the top of every block and becomes spendable only after a maturity period of additional confirmations.
